Community Partners
The Center for Children's Health, led by Cook Children's, focuses specifically on the prevention of injury and illness to make our North Texas region one of the healthiest places to raise a child. The center has six coalitions that are responsible for bringing together key stakeholders who are committed to improving the health and well-being of children ages 0-14 in our service region (Denton, Hood, Johnson, Parker, Tarrant and Wise counties). These efforts help fulfill Cook Children's Promise to our community to improve the health of every child through the prevention and treatment of illness, disease and injury.
